Police gunned down Tompolo’s namesake in Delta after robbing woman at gunpoint

A notorious armed robber popularly known as Tompolo has been shot dead by men of the Nigeria Police Force, Enerhen Police Divisional Headquarters in a joint patrol with members of SEDCO Community Vigilante.

 We learn that the incident occurred on Sunday, April 9 When Tompolo allegedly robbed an unidentified woman at gun point at about 5am in Dugbo Estate, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state.


According to Daily Post, three other criminals however escaped with billet.According to reports, Tompolo has been terrorisoing the areas for long until he met his death in the hands of the police.
While confirming the incident, the Divisional Police Officer of Enerhen, CSP Hassan Galadima said: ” I’m aware of the incident. 
It’s not just the vigilante that killed the robber. They were on patrol with the police. We shot him and the rest escaped with bullet wounds. We recovered from them some expended and live cartridges inside the gun. in this market survey shows why helping the needy in Easter is good.

Court orders forfeiture of N449m found in abandoned Bureau De Change

EFCC According to the investigator, Tauheed allegedly conspired with the owner of the abandoned shop to launder the money. The sum of N449,750,000 found in an abandoned Bureau de Change office on Victoria Island by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has been forfeited temporarily to the anti-graft agency. According to a report by Punch Newspaper, the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, April 19l, 2017 ordered the temporary forfeiture. The forfeiture order was reportedly given by Justice Rilwan Aikawa  following an ex-parte application by the anti-graft agency. An EFCC investigator,  Moses Awolusi , reportedly told the court in the affidavit filed before the judge that the office numbered LS64, located on at Legico Shopping Plaza had not been opened for two years.
