Photographs of two young children eating watermelon they picked from a dustbin in the Nothern parts of the country has further accentuated the prevailing hunger and poverty in the country occasioned by the ongoing recession. The photos which have become viral on the Internet was snapped and posted by a Facebook user based in Kano State, Umar Faruk who spotted the children eating the fruits they got from a garbage drum. According to a report by Punch Newspaper, the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, April 19l, 2017 ordered the temporary forfeiture. The forfeiture order was reportedly given by Justice Rilwan Aikawa following an ex-parte application by the anti-graft agency. Efe studied and graduated from University of Jos and went on to serve in the National Youth Service Corp. In the days leading up to the conclusion of the Big Brother Naija TV show, stories of just how poor Efe Ejeba seemed to be, began to make the rounds in the internet. The stories which were grossly exaggerated, when combined with Efe's fluent pidgin in the house, led many to believe that he was a drop out.
